Make an Impact by

• Perform day-to-day administration for submarine DWDM networks and manage network resources.
• Issue works order for submarine capacity provisioning requests (i.e., capacity activation, capacity de-activation, and capacity re-designation/Interface/Node Change).
• Develop Mux Plan by collaborating with submarine cable system suppliers and submarine cable landing stations on data verification during the network upgrades.
• Collect Operations and Maintenance (O&M) liabilities for the submarine cable systems from their respective System Managers and prepare report.
• Monitor land plant inventory levels in storage, replenish the land plant, keep track of delivery timeline and go to storage when needed (i.e., when logistics or contractors deliver, return or collect land plant spares).
• Ensure permits (manhole access and LTA.PROMPT Notification) are obtained for land cable fault investigation and/or land cable repairs by the contractors.
• Attend onsite when needed during land cable fault investigation and/or land cable repairs by the contractors.
• Perform tasks assigned by the Manager.

Skills for Success

• Diploma in Computer Engineering (or) Diploma in Information Technology (or) Diploma in Electronic & Computer Engineering (or) Diploma in Electrical/Electronic Engineering
• Knowledge of optical communications transport networks.
