The Employee Communications and Events team supports the Optus Australia business. We work up, down and across the company’s corporate, digital consumer, retail sales, marketing & products, networks, wholesale, SMB and satellite divisions. We communicate our business strategy and help our people understand the role they play in bringing it to life.

 

Your day in the life at Optus
 

  • Be the custodian of our delivery platforms (Sharepoint intranet, Viva Engage and digital display technology) ensuring they’re working the way they’re meant to and delivering a great experience for our amazing people.
  • Champion internal social media platform Viva Engage and drive collaboration whilst interpreting data and analytics to provide recommendations which drive engagement and track effectiveness in this growing channel 
  • Support the delivery of our weekly staff broadcast including briefing editors and operational requirements
  • Create clear and consistent video and written content for a range of regular communications channels
  • Ideally you will be able to create and edit video content, or have a desire to learn  

 

Your skills to pay the bills

 

  • Previous experience in Internal Communications
  • Basic Premier Pro skills (advantageous), knowledge of Canva and social media
  • Prior experience working in a large corporate handling multiple internal platforms
