A member of the Enterprise Architecture team, the role is responsible for delivering the IT strategy, reference architecture, architecture practices, enablement, and governance. The individual is accountable for ensuring that the architecture outcomes, built in accordance with Singtel's Digital Core Platform standards, and other supporting platforms like the API gateway, monitoring and logging, data lake, and external integration services.

Additionally, the role supports Singtel's evolution of OSS/BSS technology optimization and advancement. Driven by modernization in technology, such as cloud computing, big data analytics, and artificial intelligence, to enhance operational efficiencies and customer experiences.

Make an Impact by:

•       Drive Singtel enterprise architecture design principles and strategy.

•       Design and implement Singtel integration architectures and solutions that support the strategic goals of the business.

•       Lead the evaluation, selection, and implementation of integration tools and software.

•       Collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into effective integration solutions.

•       Develop and maintain standards and guidelines for integration practices and design patterns.

•       Ensure that integration projects are delivered on time, within scope, and budget.

•       Monitor and analyze the effectiveness of integration solutions, making recommendations for improvement.

•       Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends related to enterprise integration and assess their applicability to our business needs.

•       Participate actively in the architecture forum and provide guidance to solution designer and developers.

Skills for Success:

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in architecture domain, with a focus on integration design and implementation.
• Strong experience on establishing and transforming digital services and platform modernization.
• Experience in evaluating and managing technical product, commercial issues, risks, and the associated complexity (system and infrastructure).
• Experience in communicating and influencing at senior management and executive level.
• Strong experience in managing multiple business stakeholders and vendors.
• Experience in delivery in a complex and high-pressure environment.

Technical Skills

• Proven expertise in integration technologies such as ESB, ETL, API Management, SOA, Microservices, and Event-Driven Architecture.
• Experience in evaluating and managing technical product, commercial issues, risks, and the associated complexity (system and infrastructure).
• Hands-on experience with integration platforms such as MuleSoft, JBoss Fuse, TIBCO, IBM MQ, Redhat AMQ, Kafka or equivalent.
• Strong understanding of messaging protocols, data formats (XML, JSON), and integration patterns (pub/sub, point-to-point, etc.).
• Proficiency in designing RESTful APIs, SOAP services, and other web services standards.
• Experience with cloud integration platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and hybrid integration models.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
• Relevant certifications such as TOGAF, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, or equivalent are a plus.
• Technical knowledge on TMForum (preferred).
