(Based in KL) - Senior Engineer, Automation

Singtel is using multiple cloud and container platforms to accelerate our transformation to become a TechCo.  The purpose of this role is to enable Singtel to provide an efficient, nimble and resilient infrastructure.  As an Automation Engineer, your role is to work with the rest of team members on the design, delivery and support of infra solutions. Your deep knowledge on automation and DevOps practice will indirectly help business to achieve faster release cycle and improve systems availability. You will be working in an agile environment, building Cloud and Container automation together with Cloud and Container Engineers.

Make an Impact by:

• Automate Docker, OpenShift Container Platform (OCP), GKE and Azure Cloud .
• Automation using scripting such as Powershell, Shell script
• Using DevOps tools such as Jira, Confluence, BitBucket and Nexus Repo
• Creation of pipeline templates for Azure Cloud and Container Platform

Skills for Success

• Degree in IT/Business Management
• More than 6 years in Application Development
• 4 years in implementation of DevOps for Container and Azure Cloud Platform
• knowledge and experience in Azure Cloud and Container Platform
• Scripting skill such as Python, React, Django, PowerShell, Shell
• Good Knowledge of security controls on Azure Cloud
• Good knowledge on Bitbucket, Jira, Confluence
• Documentation of standards.
• ITIL
