The Business Planning and Operations Manager will serve as a key business partner, collaborating closely with the Enterprise Product VP and the Department Head to enhance sales excellence for NSS+Cyber Sales Specialists. By cultivating strong partnerships, the manager will help align strategies and optimize resources to achieve shared objectives, driving significant business value.

 

The ideal candidate will be passionate about leveraging data to inform decision-making and drive improvements in sales operations. You should have a proven track record of implementing strategic enhancements in sales operations services through the development of self-service and automated sales management tools.

 

 

Make an Impact by:

Sales Performance Support:

 

  • Partner with the Department Head to orchestrate regular meetings with Sales Leads, emphasizing performance metrics and target achievements.
  • Provide data analytics that deliver timely, accurate, and actionable insights to inform strategic decisions and drive significant business value.
  • Facilitate biweekly meetings with sales leads and specialists to track CFU forecasts and pipeline performance.
  • Generate insights from salesforce data to ensure optimal sales execution.
  • Oversee CRM management for sales specialists, ensuring effective utilization to enhance sales processes.
  • Manage the sales commission process, operationalize the sales commission scheme, ensure data integrity, validate sales manual claims and commission payout, and improve processes for efficiency and internal control

Monthly Reviews and Cadence:

 

  • Lead monthly performance reviews with Sales Specialists and account teams, in collaboration with VPs, to drive outcomes and reinforce accountability.
  • Manage OPEX tracking for NSS and Cyber Sales Specialists to ensure financial oversight and alignment with budget setting.

Executing of sales strategies:

 

  • Work closely with the Head of Department on the annual target-setting process for Team Leads and Sales Specialists, ensuring the accurate preparation and distribution of target letters and commission scheme briefings.
  • Collaborate with the VP and Sales Head to design an annual commission scheme that promotes sales excellence while ensuring governance and compliance.

Systems Management:

 

  • Dashboard Management: Develop, implement, and manage dashboards that provide key metrics and insights to support sales operations and performance monitoring.
  • Act as the SPOC for Salesforce CRMA, responsible for implementing product access control measures to ensure data governance, facilitate seamless integration, and maintain an up-to-date product catalog in SFDC, ensuring alignment across all SFDC users and ultimately driving business value.
  • Training and Onboarding: Facilitate the onboarding of EP personnel to the Salesforce CRMA Dashboard through comprehensive training sessions to enhance their skills and ensure effective data utilization.

 

Skills for Success: 

 

  • Degree in Business, Accounting/Finance or Business Administrative, Statistics from a recognized university
  • 5 to 10 years
  • Expertise in business planning, sales operations, and go-to-market strategy implementation.
  • Strong analytical skills, with proficiency in Power BI, Salesforce, and Studio Analytics.
  • Proven experience in managing commission schemes and financial planning.
  • Software and tools including Excel, PowerPoint, SAP, Tableau and PowerBI
  • Strong analytical skills with a good eye for detail.
  • Keen interest in the business and its operations and processes. Able to work in a dynamic and fast paced environment, and to meet critical deadlines.
  • Demonstrates strong skills in working independently while also effectively collaborating with various teams and stakeholders.
  • Strong communication / writing ability and able to communicate complex concepts to persons of various backgrounds
  • Excellent leadership and project management skills with a focus on driving business outcomes.
