5G Prototyping Developer

Job Description:

As a 5G Cloud Native Full Stack Developer, your role is to work with the 5G transformation team to define, design and build 5G-related solutions / assets using cloud native technologies.

You’ll are expected to:

• Adopt a lean startup mentality to arrive at the quickest and cheapest way to solve a problem statement and achieve the intended outcome
• Think out of the box and deliver the solutions quickly as part of a team
• Adopt a technical and ‘Hands-On’ approach in solving problems
• Be passionate about Technology, and to keep abreast of changes in the digital landscape
• Help identify technology trends and potential vendors/products to ingest into solutions
• Act independently to determine methods and procedures on new assignments
• Actively be involved in the development of 5G industry specific solutions as assets / demos
• Develop and deploy solutions / assets onto cloud native platforms such as Azure, AWS and GCP
• Develop internal assets and accelerators to improve efficiency and reuse
• Demonstrate discipline and document your work in a clear and concise manner
• Work closely with the development team to become a highly valued member of an autonomous, cross-functional squad

Basic Qualifications:

• Strong development skills with practical experience in developing solutions at speed using Cloud Native technologies
• Hands on knowledge in APIs, Microservices and IOT. Knowledge on Container-based technologies as well as Data Analytics and Digital Twins would be a plus
• Experienced in using Open Source and SaaS as building blocks in assembling new cloud native applications
• Experienced in working on Azure and at least 1 other Cloud (IaaS/PaaS) provider such as AWS, Google Cloud Platform, Heroku or equivalent to build cloud native applications
• Experienced in working with Azure cloud services such as Azure IOT Hub, Azure Logic Apps, Azure Digital Twins, and other relevant services to build 5G industry specific solutions / demos
• Practical development experience using WSDL/SOAP/XML and REST/JSON or equivalent
• Practical development experience in using Java, JSON, JSP, JavaScript and Node.js or equivalent programming languages
• Practical experience with popular DevOps tools, like Azure DevOps, Git, Jenkins or Nexus
• Comfortable working with Lean-Agile and Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery methodologies
• Good understanding and appreciation of Lean UI/UX design
