You will be a part of the Record To Report (RTR) Intercompany Team, that handles the full scope of Intercompany Processes, understanding and administering the end-to-end process from record to report. Your role will comprise and is not limited to the following:

  • Handling queries from internal customers and vendors
  • Maintaining an efficient and effective collection and settlement of the intercompany balances in Singtel Group
  • Reconciliation for Interco GL, AR and AP balances
  • Monthly reclassification of interco balances
  • Preparation and submission of intercompany contra for settlement
  • Assist in the of reporting for intercompany matters

 

Make an Impact by:

 

  • Responsible for accounting functions for intercompany accounts and journal entries
  • Ensure timely and accurate clearance of receipts, contra and write-offs
  • Coordinate and liaise with internal customers to support intercompany activities (including SOA and aging)
  • Issue Reminders, Statement of Accounts, collect and store relevant documents and follow-up with intercompany customers for outstanding balances
  • Ensure timely responses to internal customer queries
  • Perform intercompany reconciliation for intercompany pairs (accounts receivable, accounts payables and general ledger)
  • Assist in the preparation of financial data analysis for intercompany AR processes and settlements
  • Attend to annual audit confirmation requests for intercompany transactions and balances
  • Any other ad hoc matters that may arise

 

Skills for Success: 

 

  • Diploma in Accounting/Finance or LCCI
  • 1 to 2 years of relevant work experience
  • Proficient in MS Office apps
  • Good knowledge of accounting concepts
  • Good communication and writing skills
  • Mindset of continuous learning
  • Ability to problem-solve
  • A self-starter
  • Good time management
  • Meticulous
  • Ability to work independently and in a team
