About the Role 

The Optus Mass Market division of the business is the segment of Optus consumer that distributes Optus’ 3rd Party retailers, over 20,000 outlets. This division of the business undertakes the execution, distribution and management of these accounts by driving predominately prepaid products such as SIM Cards, Handsets, Mobile Broadband and recharge but also growing a developing post-paid business.

 

The role of the Operations Support Manager is to support the Mass Market Sales team to achieve our Customer, Revenue and Profit goals. The Mass Market channel incudes Prepaid Services, Consumer Electronics along with Supermarkets and Discount Department stores. This role is integral to ensure processes are followed and actioned in a timely manner. This role will be responsible for the day to day admin of all accounts, with core accountabilities across account invoices and remittances, product and stock management and partner onboarding. Strong MS Office skills would be desirable as well as a strong team player who can manage internal stakeholders to achieve outcomes for the team. Adhoc reporting, promotional input and execution as well as claim management will also form part of the overall tasks of this role.

 

Duties include

  • Invoice and claim management 
  • Channel and Partner onboarding 
  • Process order management
  • Promotional paperwork, new line forms, return maintenance and general administration
  • Manage internal accrual trackers, through National account Executives and claims to ensure effective and accurate use of investment dollars
  • Streamline processes and develop tools that assist in the sales process at a store level. As well as sales team processes and procedures.
  • Sales reporting for customers and channels will be required during transition to automation. Weekly share, and market update to be completed for all accounts. To include; category growth performance, market share performance by sub cat and supplier, catalogue/promotional performance analysis, overall market trend analysis
