About the role

The next gen app experience will be an award-winning telco app, disrupting the market you’ll drive the future vision of this area, making sure it compliments a cohesive overall amaysim experience, that drives customer love to amaysim customers every day!

We’re in the lookout for an App Designer hybrid role (UI/UX) to work with our Apps team and deliver against our purpose to grow the app as a key channel for our customers to self-serve and for Amaysim to build stronger customer relationships.

 

Key responsibilities include:

  • Defining and leading the creative vision and interaction design of the mobile app, partnering with UX, and Graphic Designers to create clean, performant app designs, motion visualizations and iterations
  • Inspiring and influencing key stakeholders from Brand, Design, Engineering, Marketing, CRM, Commercial and Digital Product to create the best customer experience possible across both iOS and Android platforms
  • Working with the UX researcher for a needs base design, testing plans, participant recruitment, facilitations, synthesize and present finding/insights
  • Designing new customer journeys and interfaces, from low-def to high-def artefacts including sketching, wireframing, interactive prototyping and visual design
  • Delivery of digital assets adhering to Digital Style Guide, spec for all screen sizes (mobile and tablet)

 

About you

You are a passionate APP UX Designer with demonstratable experience in a Mobile App Design role. Additionally, you will also bring:

  • Expertise in Design and UX prototyping, typography and screen design
  • Experience with Figma, Adobe XD, Aftereffects, lottie
  • In-depth understanding of information architecture and user psychology
  • Great attention to detail and the ability to define workflow and improve processes
  • Strong communication skills and ability to influence others
  • Curiousity, wanting to understand why things work the way they do
