You are responsible for building infrastructure management system for cloud and self-hosted environment. In this role, you will need to configure and build software used for the management of infrastructure components, from network to operating system, middleware, databases and IOT devices using coding and scripts. You will also develop software and scripts to automate manual tasks required for service fulfilment and assurance. You will be responsible for deployment of various technologies used.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain automation scripts and application code for automating tasks for infrastructure management such and provisioning, troubleshooting, resolution, configuration change, compliance check
  • Build, deploy and release OSS component packages using automation technologies.
  • Understand the design template for public cloud such as Amazon Web Service and Azure, develop the necessary scripts to build and deploy resources in the private cloud
  • Build software to integrate with managed components, extract data required for monitoring and management. Configure infrastructure management tools
  • Define and ensure quality control with strict adherence to standards, policies and procedures
  • Support user acceptance test
  • Create system configuration and operation documentation

 

The ideal candidate should possess

  • Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience as a system / software engineer
  • Knowledge in Cloud technology such as AWS / Azure
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in Python and/or Javascript, Ansible, Powershell
  • Integration using Web Services
  • Integration with Database
  • Agile methodology
  • Linux and Windows operating system
  • Good understanding of networking technology
  • Understanding of Datalake technology
  • Knowledge in system management software such as Nagios, Zabbix, CA UIM.
  • Experience in customizing and configuration visualization tool such as Grafana and / or Tableau
