Responsibilities:
- Drive development of reference architecture, technology standards, architecture principles and patterns for Singtel Group IT
- Ensure and guide projects solution alignment to Singtel’s enterprise reference Architecture, strategy, standards & polices
- As ARB secretariat set guideline and process for ARB submission, templates, session, approval and exemption
- Manage technical debt in the organization and ensure technical debts are monitored and governed
- Review all major RFP responses from EA perspective, engage with Singtel vendors to ensure seamless integration of vendors product with Singtel ecosystem
- Champion Solution Delivery methodology for technical and architecture deliverables - define the process for engaging ARB, Infosec, Data Protection office and other compliance teams
- Maintain enterprise architecture repository (EAR) & City maps, perform application portfolio analysis and risk assessment from security, EOL/EOS, technical debt, cost perspective
- Define and generate various technology and architecture reports to help CIO office taking right decision on investment in technology and IT
- Ensure Alignment of IT architecture across various business units and regional Operators, reduce duplication and maximize reuse across the group
- Provides technical/solution expertise and advice to senior/executive management on domain application landscape and current and emerging systems trends, practices, opportunities and risks within area of expertise
- Builds and develops effective relationships with senior/executive management and enterprise/domain architects globally, in order to influence optimal business outcomes and with other departments to achieve set goals.
- Maintains external alignments with customers, relevant subject matter experts (SMEs) or external bodies as required. Represents company in external bodies & forums
Requirements:
- Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or its equivalent
- Passion for architecture and ability to pick up and learn new technological advances very quickly
- Exhibits leadership in guiding team members, adapts to changes in technology and business domains, has good knowledge of latest trends in the market and is well respected within the team
- Solid understanding of Public Cloud (pref. AWS) architecture. Cloud certification is a plus
- Ability to effectively communicate vision and roadmap to all stakeholders. Exceptional communication skills with diverse audiences (including non-technical audiences)
