The role is responsible for supporting the development of a positive, fair, and compliant workplace environment by assisting in the management of employee relations matters and ensuring adherence to company policies and employment regulations. The incumbent works closely with People & Culture colleagues, employees, and managers to address workplace concerns, promote effective communication, and support the consistent application of people policies and practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Primary point of contact for employees regarding workplace issues, grievances, and complaints.
- Support the investigation and resolution of employee complaints, misconduct allegations, and policy violations.
- Document and maintain detailed records of employee relations cases and disciplinary actions.
- Coordinate with and assist Internal Audit in employee-related investigations.
- Maintain accurate records of compliance activities - incident/investigation documentations, reports, training etc.
- Optimizing HR processes and workflows which involves streamlining and improving the efficiency of case management.
- Use data insights to recommend proactive measures and process improvements
The ideal candidate should have/be:
- Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
- IHRP certification.
- 1–3 years of relevant HR or Employee Relations experience.
- Knowledge of employment legislation, HR policies, and employee relations practices.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Good analytical skills with the ability to identify trends and recommend improvements.
- Detail-oriented with strong documentation and record-keeping capabilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications; experience with HR systems or case management tools is a plus.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
