Make an Impact by

 

Business Partnering

  • Support DI Co businesses (Enterprise Platforms and RE:AI) on all financial matters
  • Understand the business well to work closely with Management to set priorities
  • Reviewing and monitoring business financial, including business case.
  • Ensure completeness of entity financials, review of financial statements.
  • Compliance on Tax filing with authority, including corp tax and GST.
  • Support business expansion activities, including regional expansion.
  • Provide financial information, tools, analysis and insight to management, helping them make more informed decisions and driving business strategy.

Investment/Project Development

  • Assist in the overall project management of Data Centre (“DC”) which includes Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand and Indonesia and other markets
  • Working within Nxera to monitor performance of JV, including any business case where applicable
  • Valuation work coordination within Nxera on deal related consideration.
  • Involvement in business development related work (e.g. market scoping) for specific financial modelling work, business case work needed.

Regional Financial Operations

Work with local partners/management to support the following:

  • Engage the JV management on any requirements from Nxera.
  • Evaluation and set up local ERP system. [Regional ERP plan at Regional DC level]
  • Set up local procurement policy and scope of joint procurement exercise
  • Set up local bank accounts, payroll and approval matrix for procurement, bank transaction and contract deviations
  • Support sourcing of project financing, when appropriate
  • Develop template for the setting up of financial operations that can be used for JVs in other markets
  • Set up budgeting and reporting cadence
  • Support capital drawdown and any Board/shareholder matters

 

Skills for success

 

  • Minimum 10 years of relevant experience
  • Sound knowledge of accounting and finance
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • High proficiency in financial modeling
  • Proficiency and intuitive understanding of multiple business drivers, key value-creation levers, and other quantitative metrics that support a comprehensive financial model
  • Ability to assess and critically evaluate business models from a strategic investor’s perspective
  • Strong business acumen with exposure to commercial finance
  • Good oral and written communication skills
  • Strong team player
  • Demonstrated leadership qualities
  • Meticulous, with strong analytical skills and high learning agility
  • Self-motivated with a high level of initiative
