Associate Director, Postpaid Product Marketing  Job Description: 

 

Device & Go-To-Market
1.    Lead a team of Product Managers and Executives with a focus on device pricing strategy, manage key device launches, subsidies optimization and Go-To-Market activities 
2.    Drive business opportunities with global device vendors looking at market and technology development, device portfolio and ecosystems, associated business models including profitability to boost Singtel’s margins.
3.    Conceptualize, evaluate vendors business proposal and take to market innovative new products within the ecosystem that will lead to a revenue growth and protect Singtel’s market share leadership position in Singapore
4.    On point to develop the end-to-end GTM planning effort to drive revenue and market share with 5G, price plans, Add-ons and devices 
5.    Role involves leveraging on digital transformation, analytics, apps, new models and Singtel assets to drive acquisition and revenue enhancing campaigns with innovative offers   
7.    Build robust relationships with external and internal stakeholders, such as Developers/Vendors/Partners, Marketing, Sales, Customer Care, IS, and Network, to ensure strong teamwork in smooth project execution and delivery.
8.    Ensure the team is highly engaged with the desired engagement score. Provide constructive and timely feedback, set clear direction and targets, and constantly motivate the team to achieve higher performance. 
 

Key responsibilities: 

  1. Responsible for equipment revenue, cost and margins targets
  2. Closely monitor market trends, consumer behaviors, and technological developments which open up new business opportunities, in order to conceptualize and develop products needed to deliver the revenue on schedule and within the desired cost targets.
  3. Drive end to end marketing plans, tapping into vendor ecosystem and new capabilities to drive devices sales while monitoring operating expenses to meet business objectives
  4. Transform and look at new approaches to sell devices and services with partners
  5. Improve processes for cost control as well as rationalize products within the portfolio to ensure competitiveness
  6. Ensure that the product and service offerings will result in the best customer experience in terms of simplicity and ease of use.  Segments served include both corporate customers and residential consumers.

 

Requirements: 

  • Bachelor Degree from recognized university
  • At least 8 years of marketing working experience, preferably with Technology or Telco industry knowledge 
  • Good project management and financial analysis skills
  • Possess a technical appreciation of mobile technologies, platforms and device ecosystems
  • Strong negotiation and influencing skills with business partners
  • Strong stakeholder management skills
  • Strong orientation to drive measurable results
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills
  • Good leadership and people management skills
