Make an Impact by:

The role is responsible to perform proactive service monitoring, in depth troubleshooting and operate system and platform in an optimal state. Ensure Infra structure services meeting service level KPIs, customer level satisfactory and regulatory requirement. The role is also accountable for Escalation to the Engineers in terms of any form of degradation of the  service quality and service availability of the services provided. The detail scope are :-

  • In-depth understanding and troubleshooting of DNS Caching & Authoritative/DHCP/2FA/NTP/Redhat platforms.
  • Strong knowledge of IPV4/IPV6 protocols and Redhat Linux/VMware Operating systems operations and administration
  • Perform system and service-level troubleshooting and replication to simulate issues in the staging environment.
  • Responsible for supporting the daily operation and reporting.
  • Support engineering team on testing, evaluating and deploying of enhancements and vulnerabilities.
  • Able to recognize/detect problems by identifying abnormalities and trending through the various monitoring platform such as Cacti/Grafana/Nagios/SmokePing/Syslo
  • Able to clearly escalate to various parties with clarity of the issues and perform follow ups till issues are resolved.
  • Ability to create scripts in Shell, Python, Perl or other language
  • Handle and support heighten level of monitoring/reporting and escalation during various kinds of Ad-hoc events such as National events.
  • Provide Tier 2&3 support and escalations to engineering and vendors to address service issue and resolution.
  • Experience in automation tools like Ansible/Puppet/UiPath.
  • Participate in BCP program initiatives.
  • Provide 24x7 support when needed.

 

Skills for Success:

  • Diploma in Electronics Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field
  • At least 3-5 years working experience with emphasis on VMware/ Linux, RHEL, VMware, NTP, DNS, DHCP system
  • Experience in operation of the following systems VMware/Linux, RHEL, MySQL DB, NetAppl. NTP, DNS, DHCP systems
  • DNS/DHCP/Linux systems operation experienc
  • The successful candidate will need to work 12 hours rotating shift fulfilling a 24x7 work cycle.
