Make an Impact by:

  • The main scope for this role is to perform infrastructure planning for diversion of existing Singtel outside plant infrastructure affected by the private and government agencies projects.
  • The works require engaging the Developer/Building owner/Consultant for discussion of the proposed diversion.
  • Perform site survey with the Customer/Consultant to assess the affected Singtel infrastructure.
  • Liaise with Netlink Trust (NLT) on diversion plan for pipe for NLT to proceed with fiber planning.
  • Prepare and send budgetary quote to the requestor for diversion and track the payment.
  • Preparation of monthly report for OPE Dashboard for the status of quotation sent, payment received, and diversion works.
  • Coordinate closely with internal and external stakeholders for timely implement of the diversion projects and update the customer on the status.
  • Support Finance by providing the documents and information required for progressively and final bill.
  • Manage customer enquiries on all matters related to the status of the diversion works.
  • Use GTECH/GIS2.0, WFM/DFF, Billing Advice and SAP system for planning, upload of quotation letters/payments and for tracking and information retrieval.
  • Support operation for diversion work especially during the night.
  • Any other duties assigned by the reporting Manager.

 

Skills for Success:

  • Diploma in Electronics Engineering/Telecommunications or in relevant field.
  • Preferably with 1 year working experience and holding Class 3 driving license.
  • Able to work during non-office hours to support network incidents and restoration.
  • Good working knowledge of PC applications such as MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Good communication skills, keen to learn and a team player.
  • This role requires a mix of technical knowledge, communication abilities, and flexibility in work hours. It involves not only technical aspects but also administrative tasks like budgeting, reporting, and customer support.
