Make an Impact by:

  • Conduct site surveys, install, and commission Carrier Ethernet network equipment to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
  • Serve as the primary contact point for vendors and manage project implementations, ensuring smooth communication and execution.
  • Oversee capacity management, including port and IP address assignments, to maintain efficient network operations.
  • Assist engineers in software verification and other services testing to ensure network integrity and performance.
  • Handle procurement and financial activities, including Purchase Order (PO) and Goods Receipt (GRS) creation
  • Raise fibre applications for infrastructure links to support the Carrier Ethernet transport network.
  • Ensure timely updates of IP Transport network documents to maintain accurate and current records.

 

Skills for Success:

  • Diploma in Electrical or Computer Engineering
  • At least 1 year of related experience
  • Certification in CCNA/CCNP is an advantage
  • Familiar with procurement processes and systems
  • Familiar with fibre routing assignment
  • Able to work during non-office hours to support network incidents and restoration.
  • Good working knowledge of PC applications such as MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Good communication skills, keen to learn and a team player
