Make an Impact by:
- Carry out Radio Network performance monitoring and network operation activities for LTE (FDD & TDD) (4G) and NR (5G) on daily basis
- Analyze and monitor system alarms and key performance indicators of the Mobile Core services to detect network/system anomalies and ensure quality of service is delivered to the mobile customers.
- Troubleshoot and identify root cause for system faults and service degradation
- Conduct testing and roll out new operations support features and functions.
- Identify worst performing cells caused by operational issues and troubleshoot to restore service to the Radio Network in timely manner
- Execute parameter changes on eNodeB / gNodeB and Cell Site Router, Change Request as per required.
- Liaise and coordinate with network vendors for regular system changes, including installation of new basestation, upgrade and maintenance.
- Provide 2nd/3rd tier technical support to 24-hour network operations center and Customer Care for system-related, service-related faults and customer complaints.
Skills for Success:
- Diploma in Electronics Engineering/Telecommunications or in relevant field.
- Team player with strong communication, organizational and interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently.
- Passion to embrace new technologies i.e. 5G NR, Virtualization, Cloud computing and keen interest in developing ways to improve customer experience.
- Able to work during non-office hours on an occasional basis and be on 24 x 7 hours’ standby alert for ad-hoc faults or service degradation.
- Knowledge of SUN Solaris, RedHat, HPUX, SHELL programming, TCP/IP and CISCO switch / router will be an added advantage
