Make an Impact by:

 

  • Responsible for the fibre cable planning for new or existing development (commercial & Industrial buildings).
    • Project Planning for fiber cable top up (UG and In-building).
    • Planning and studying of underground and in-building fiber (Fiber and Pipe networks).
  • Managing of Project based and Daily order-based Provisioning projects. Ensuring that target dates (Customer Ready Date) for all access fibre cable schemes are met so that services can be provided expeditiously to customers.
  • Liaising with internal and external teams to ensure smooth delivery of project completion.
    • Working together with internal and external counterparts on project job scope.
    • Ensuring project schemes and material vouchers are issued timely.
    • Assisting contractors in applying MARS (Manhole Access Request System) and liaising with BM (Building Management) for access application.
    • Updating and keeping track on contractor’s progress report and ensuring job completion reports are submitted on time.
    • Verification of contractor’s job completion.
    • Providing estimated fiber and pipeline quote to internal parties.
  • Conducting site survey when the need arises.
    • Assist contractors whenever they encounter difficulties on site and proposing alternatives to solve infrastructure issues.
  • Planning and supporting nationwide copper recovery projects.
    • Planning and issuing projects to contractors.
    • Assist in issuing SOs (Service Order) to contractors and verification of contractor’s claims.

 

Skills for Success:

  • Diploma in Electronics Engineering/Telecommunications or in relevant field.
  • Preferably with 1 year working experience and holding Class 3C driving license.
  • Able to work during non-office hours to support network incidents and restoration.
  • Good working knowledge of PC applications such as MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Good communication skills, keen to learn and a team player
  • Able to cope and work in a fast-paced environment.
