Make an Impact by:

  • Manage project & work closely with engineering on GPON/XGSPON project implementation to realise and ensure fault-free service roll-out to customers & network infrastructure.
  • Manage commissioning of new OLT to meet project timeline.
  • Manage and liaise with vendors, engineering and operation teams on fault simulation investigation, and problem analysis.
  • Manage, maintain, and enhance inhouse broadband servers including but not limited to security patches, and OS update.
  • Accessing and managing firewall policies via the command line interface
  • Analyse and review the vulnerability scan & security report for inhouse servers.
  • Liaise and coordinate with internal stake holders, equipment and service providers and partners to ensure swift and efficient resolution of faults.
  • Monitor and take remedial action on pro-actively and reactively detected services and network infrastructure faults till closure.
  • Mange the operation issues, escalate chronic/technically complex cases to the Vendors and follow-up till closure.
  • Documenting all Incidents and events through Incident ticketing system.
  • Identify areas of improvements to reduce Infrastructure faults and improve monitoring capability.
  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance like network device hardware and software upgrade
  • Any other tasks assigned by the manager.

 

Skills for Success:

  • Diploma in Engineering / Computer Science
  • Candidates with relevant working experience.
  • Possess good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Self-starter and highly driven with the ability to work independently, as well as in a team.
  • Goal oriented with good analytical skill, committed to deliver high quality outputs, effectively utilized team member to his/her full potential and motivates the team to work together in the most efficient manner.
