Make an Impact by: 

  • Plan diversion of existing Singtel OSP infrastructure affected by third-party projects initiated by government agencies and developers (e.g., road widening, MRT construction, sewerage/drainage works, redevelopment/demolition for BTO and private buildings).
  • Develop diversion plans including replacement of underground pipelines and cables (fiber and copper) based on diversion requests and site constraints.
  • The works require engaging the Developer/Building owner/Consultant/Maincon for discussion of the proposed diversion.
  • Conduct site surveys with customers/consultants to assess affected infrastructure and proposed diversion routes.
  • Evaluate feasibility and identify risks related to:
    • Pipeline diversion planning and cable proposals
    • Site implementation challenges and constructability
  • Work with operations, contractors, engineering consultants, developers, and relevant authorities/service departments to resolve survey and implementation issues.
  • Engage developers/building owners/consultants to discuss and align on diversion proposals, requirements, timelines, and site constraints.
  • Coordinate internally with Operations/Contractors to ensure plans are released accurately and works are executed according to schedule.
  • Provide regular updates to customers and stakeholders on project status and timelines.
  • Prepare monthly reporting (e.g., OPE Dashboard) covering quotation issued, payments received and diversion work status and progress
  • Manage customer enquiries relating to diversion scope, schedule, progress, billing, and handover status.
  • Coordinate GIS system requirements based on users’ needs.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by the Reporting Manager.

 

 

Skills for Success:  

 

  • Diploma certification in Engineering preferable in Telecommunication or Info-communications Technology.
  • Preferably 1 to 2 years working experience.
  • Possession of a Class 3 driving license or owns a private vehicle would be an advantage.
  • Good working knowledge of PC applications such as MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Good communication skills, tactful, keen to learn and a team player.
  • Able to cope and work in a fast-paced environment.
