Responsibilities:

  • Plan new replacement pipeline and cable network projects for the diversion of existing pipeline and cable network including MDF.
  • Plan pipeline and cable projects for absorbing outdoor cabinet to indoor MDF rooms resulted from exchange consolidation exercise.
  • Plan partial or complete recovery of existing copper cables that are not used in the network when necessary
  • Liaise with Architects, Engineering Consultants, Building Developers and relevant Authorities/ Service Departments related to planning for diversion requirements and work out the diversion quotations.
  • Liaise with external parties and internal departments on matters such as coordination work relating to implementation of pipeline and cable projects.
  • Attend site meetings with Architects, Engineering Consultants, Building Developers and relevant Authorities/ Service Departments on matters relating to planning and execution of pipeline and cable diversion projects
  • Any other related duties delegated by the Supervisor.

 

The Ideal candidate should posses:

  • Diploma in Engineering preferable in Telecommunication, Info-communications Technology or equivalent.
  • 1 year of relevant experience working in telecommunications would be an advantage.
  • Knowledge in telecommunication infrastructure.
  • Independent, self-driven, highly customer focused and able to work under pressure.
  • Those with class 3 driving license will have an added advantage.
