Key Responsibilities:

  • In Charge of 5G new site survey and handover acceptance to ensure the quality of work and site implementation meets the day 2 operation requirements.
  •  Handle day to day operation and maintenance of 5G base stations (which may include 4G/3G) and repeater systems.
  • Updating of ticketing system for daily fault clearing and routine maintenance purposes.
  • Investigating and resolving transmission link problem occuring at radio base station.  This includes joint investigating with another section (Radio Quality) staff for sites with coverage, handover or high assignment failure problems and rectifying these problems.
  • On 24hr standby duty weekly roster to attend to faults after office hours and at times field standby for any major national event.
  • Assist in Zone House Keeping, Office Logisitics Support and the submisson of monthly report.
  • Liase and supervise Term Contractors to carry out minor repair work/ Retroffing work.
  • In charge of recording, repair and return, replenishment of radio base station spare parts.

 

The ideal candidate should possess:

  • Possess Class 3 driving licence.
  • Diploma in Electrical/Electronics Engineering/Infocom Technology or equivalent or Senior Engineering Officer with at least two years in this grade.
  • Physically fit which requires daily field visits to work sites at roof-top during working days are required.
  • Willing to be on rotation on 24 X 7 standby duty to attend to faults after office hours and at time on field standby for any national major events.
