This job role is supported by the structured development programme for mid-career professionals under the TechSkills Accelerator (TeSA) initiative, led by Infocomm Media Development Authority (IMDA) in partnership with SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG) and Workforce Singapore (WSG).


The programme aims to provide Singaporeans aged 40 and above with a tech-related job while being reskilled or upskilled. Mid-career professionals will have the assurance of being employed in a paid job while attending structured Company-Led Training for in-demand tech skills. They will also gain experience in a tech role to tap into the good careers that the infocomm sector offers.

  • Provide Level 1 support for Maritime and Fixed services, such as FleetBroadband, VSAT, MVSAT, KVH, FX, ICT, Hosting, Inmarsat C, SAT-IP & Iridium satellite services.
  • To co-ordinate and ensure faster recovery for Broadcast & Occasional cast services.
  • To monitor the Satellite infrastructure such as core routers, UPS, Monitoring and control for Antenna Systems.
  • To effectively follow the incident management process using the queue ticketing system.
  • To co-ordinate the installation, commissioning and testing of the Satellite services with vendor/SI.



  • Diploma/ITE in Information Technology / Network Engineering / Electronics Engineering / Computer Engineering from a recognized institution, or relevant experience.
  • Knowledge in satellite communications.
  • Strong team player with drive to take on challenging roles.
  • Ability to work independently with minimum supervision and able to adapt to a dynamic environment
  • Ability to work on 12 hours shift.
  • Operational readiness on 24 X 7 environment.
