Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement and maintain GPON test network infrastructure and upstream devices for iLab.
  • Create diagrams and other documentation of network environments.
  • Continuous service performance of network device under test and ensure system availability and reliability in the product life cycle.
  • Familiar with test tools in the Lab (e.g. Spirent Test Centre, Avalanche, IXIA IxLoad, GPON analyser, wireshark, 1G/10G Probe, Packet capture tool)
  • Provide Tier-2/3 support and troubleshooting to resolve field issues, tier-1 support and troubleshooting to resolve Lab network and GPON system issues.
  • Analyse test results and provide meaningful test reports within required and committed timeline.
  • Any other duties as assigned.

 

The Ideal candidate should possess:

  • Diploma in Engineering / Computer Science / Information Technology.
  • Solid understanding of the network OSI or TCP/IP model.
  • Certification in CCNA and ITIL is preferred.
  • Independent, self-driven, highly customer focused tasks orientated and able to work under tight timeline to deliver quality results especially during urgent UAT requirement and ad-hoc issue investigation.
