Responsibilities:

  • To supervise technicians and contractors to execute all access fibre cable works in the area under his/her care in accordance with all established operation procedures and engineering instructions
  • Responsible for all fibre cable diversion works including those in conjunction with new commercial & housing development and backbone Fibre Network
  • Take charge for the maintenance of fibre cables and attend to emergency cable breakdowns and system outage during and after office hours
  • Any other duties assigned by the Supervisor

 

The Ideal candidate should possess:

  • Diploma in Electrical Engineering
  • 3 years of related working experience
  • Good knowledge of telecommunication infrastructure

  • Able to manage contractors effectively and communicate with internal stakeholders.

  • Able to commit on standby task for restoration works
