As an Associate Finance Director (Business Financial Planning and Analysis), you will be partnering with the Chief Executive and COO to support the financial functions of Strategic Business Group (SBG)/ Line of Business (LOB). Providing advisory and consultative support to SBG/ LOBs on finance related areas. You will also contribute towards strategic business planning and profitability enhancement.
What will you do?
Strategic Financial Planning and Analysis
- Partner with Chief Executive and COO Gov+ to provide financial planning and budgeting support across all 12 account tribes, as well as global business units (e.g., Hong Kong).
- Provide financial analysis of business actuals and forecasts, actively manage the achievement of financial targets, and offer actionable insights to the business.
Financial Oversight and Risk Management
- Review key financial metrics at the Gov+ level, identifying risks and opportunities across the Strategic Business Group (SBG) to ensure early alerts of potential risks or upsides.
- Build, implement, and track cost-saving initiatives for Gov+.
Business Case Development and Scenario Planning
- Develop detailed financial models, scenario planning, and business cases for projects or new initiatives to support decision-making.
Leadership and Team Management
- Lead a team of Client Finance Managers and Line of Business (LOB) Finance Managers, providing guidance on account tribe reviews, account planning, and other finance-related matters.
Process Improvement and Operational Efficiency
- Review, streamline, standardize, and recommend new or improved processes or systems to enhance operational efficiency, effectiveness, compliance, and controls.
- Perform any other tasks as assigned.
The ideal candidate should possess:
- 12-15 years of relevant working experience in financial analysis and management reporting
- Experience as a commercial analyst has an added advantage
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (e.g. Excel, Word, Powerpoint)
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
- Good basic understanding of accounting standards
- Good working knowledge of SAP and data visualisation (Tableau) software will be an added advantage
- Understand the new accounting standards on revenue recognition, and capitalisation.
- Domain knowledge of ICT industry
- Possess excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
- Strong leadership and highly motivated to overcome challenges, and able to act as change agent for the company
- Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines
- Degree in Accounting and/or professional certifications (ACCA / CA)
