Join us in Canberra ACT, Australia, as an Account Manager in our Sales Division to be part of our ambitious journey transforming one of our key accounts, the Department of Home Affairs in line with their vision and IT strategy!
What You’ll Do | Your day to day will consist of
- Developing and nurturing high-level customer relationships with senior executives, ensuring flawless delivery of offers and sales artefacts for complex product and service solutions.
- Leading strategic conversations with Home Affairs executives, providing proven leadership and mentorship to influence revenue, cost management, and capability development.
- Successfully implementing strategies to achieve billed revenue, profitability, and signing of new business orders, while boosting customer happiness.
- Collaborating with other functional leads and the wider account team to ensure outstanding customer experiences and strict adherence to strategic goals.
- Maintain high sales activity levels to generate an effective opportunity pipeline.
- Work closely with Optus groups to ensure new business is implemented efficiently and customers are satisfied with the process.
- Develop great customer relationships covering all relevant contacts within the customer account.
What You Bring | What makes you perfect for the role?
- Over five years of experience in a corporate business environment or government departments, particularly in customer service, project management, sales or marketing roles.
- Proven experience in business-to-business relationships in the corporate marketplace, with a consultative engagement style.
- Outstanding interpersonal and relationship-building skills, with the ability to effectively communicate at CIO, CFO, and CEO levels.
- Demonstrates excellent verbal and written communication abilities, strong presentation skills, and effective listening capabilities, enabling successful negotiation of high-level sales deals.
- A strong sense of business insight and skill in self-management, planning, and administration.
- Strong abilities in managing activities to plan, and coordinating multiple stakeholders
