Optus is currently expanding our fleet of geostationary communications satellites with the procurement of multiple spacecraft. Our amazing team performs the enhancement, expansion and upgrade of Optus infrastructure to operate the new Spacecraft.

 

The Logistics Coordinator will be responsible for logistics and the operation of the store at the Belrose Satellite Facility.

The role will be responsible for all Optus Satellite inventory, both install & spares equipment, held at the facility, ensuring inventory is assigned to a proper location and managed on the appropriate database associated with the equipment holding.

 

The day to day

  • Operate, maintain and control parts and spares in Belrose Satellite Facility in a safe, secure and tidy manner.
  • Receive, check, document and process all deliveries to the store and track equipment sent to Vendors for repair.
  • Operate the facility's forklift and handling equipment to load/unload vehicles.
  • Point of contact with the courier and freight vendors for quotes, special requests, problem resolution etc.
  • Assist with the checking, allocation, provision of backup documentation and approvals for courier and freight invoices on a weekly basis.
  • Organise requests for couriers and other pick-ups within the required deadlines.

  • Strong experience in logistics, Inventory Management and compliance.
  • Holder of current Driving Licence and Forklift licence
  • Ability to present sophisticated issues in a concise & logical format and meet timelines.
  • Strong & effective communication skills across all levels of organisation.
  • Moderate Excel skills and/or Service Now experience
  • Highly motivated teammate with a · positive attitude to change
