The candidate is required to perform User Acceptance testing (UAT) for Billing Consumer Services or Products. You are required to understand the requirement and plan out the test scenarios and execute them in testing environment. In addition, you will ensure UAT is completed within the given schedule and document the test results, conduct briefing and handover to operations team (where necessary).

You will ensure that any system enhancements/ scheme rolled have proper processes and controls put in place with quality and integrity of billing.

This role also requires coordinating with and managing vendor (TMO outsource team).

 

 

Make An Impact By

 

User Acceptance Testing & Implementation for new / changes to consumer products

  • Liaise with stakeholders (including Product managers, marketing, engineering, IS) to finalize billing requirements, including explaining/educating business users/ stakeholders on processes & requirements
  • Prepare test plan for projects prior to start of testing.  This includes defining the user acceptance criteria and designing the test cases.
  • Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT)
  • Ensure UAT is done within schedule
  • Record and report defects to IS and to see through closure of defects
  • Document testing results and update reference documents on time
  • Monitor progress of testing and provide regular and timely feedback to managers
  • Prepare briefing materials and conduct briefing to the operations team prior to the launch of new initiatives to ensure smooth handover. Provides support to users on production enquiries and issues after a project is implemented.

 

Process Improvement

  • Review processes, identify gaps and recommends enhancement within the area to increase efficiency and productivity.
  • Support digital transformation, involve in digitalisation projects and automation of work processes using RPA/ Power automate/ Phyton/ Macro, etc

 

Customer Support

  • Be an SME on Billing matters and provide support to Business Users/ Customer Care.
  • Investigate irregularities detected and resolve operational issues and feedback brought to the team’s attention with necessary escalation to the Manager/ Director

 

Training

  • Provide comprehensive training to team members and reporting staff for succession planning and back-up.

  • Diploma holder preferably in computing discipline.
  • At least 2 years of working experience in UAT.
  • Strong MS Excel competency
  • Other MS office proficiency
