The Sales Specialist, Infrastructure & Network Solutions, plays a critical role in supporting CSU Sales Teams, expanding market opportunities, and strengthening engagement with key technology vendors and distributors. You will be responsible for driving sales excellence across deal registration, opportunity creation, customer engagement, and solution optimisation to maximise customer value and NCS profitability.

 

What will you do?

 

1. Support to CSU Sales Teams

  • Manage and execute deal registrations with key vendors to secure preferred pricing, ensure compliance, and protect NCS’ position in competitive bids.
  • Prepare, create, and manage customer quotations, ensuring accuracy, timely updates, and alignment with vendor pricing structures.
  • Jointly engage customers together with CSU Account Managers, participating in sales meetings, discussions, and presentations to position NCS’ infrastructure and network solutions effectively

 

2. Sales Opportunity Creation

  • Leverage existing framework contracts and period contracts to uncover new sales opportunities and expand solution adoption among customers.
  • Organise, lead, and drive customer engagement activities—including technology workshops, product demonstrations, and solution briefings—to generate interest and increase pipeline creation.
  • Work closely with internal teams to identify potential leads, qualify opportunities, and support the overall sales process from initiation to closure.

 

3. Vendor and Distributor Engagement

  • Attain and maintain relevant sales certifications and enablement competencies from strategic network technology partners such as Cisco, Alcatel, F5, and others, ensuring strong product knowledge and alignment with vendor programs.
  • Build strong working relationships with vendors and distributors to generate incremental sales opportunities, keep updated on solution releases, and secure commercial advantages.
  • Collaborate with solutioning teams to optimise proposed solutions for customer needs while ensuring competitiveness and profitability.
  • Drive margin optimisation for NCS by managing vendor incentives, evaluating pricing options, and proposing commercially viable solution configurations.

 

The ideal candidate should possess:

  • At least 7 years of experience in IT infrastructure, networking, or enterprise technology sales.
  • Strong understanding of technology vendor ecosystems, distribution channels, and deal registration processes.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work across sales, presales, and delivery teams.
  • Experience engaging customers through workshops, events, and structured presentations.
  • Preferred certifications or enablement with major networking vendors (e.g., Cisco, Alcatel, F5).
  • Strong stakeholder and account management skills
  • Strong presentation skills
