You are a commercially astute Business Development Manager with deep experience across Queensland Government and the public sector, with a strong track record of building trusted executive level relationships.

 

In this strategically influential role, you’ll lead insight‑driven conversations across connectivity, customer experience, modern workplace and cyber security—translating government priorities into integrated ICT solutions. You’ll drive sustainable growth through effective panel utilisation, solution leadership and new business wins across the Queensland State Government portfolio.

 

Your day to day will consist of

  • Drive new business and sales performance by managing targets across TCV, GA/NA and maintaining strong pipeline coverage.
  • Execute account and growth strategy through focused planning, governance and prioritisation of major pursuits.
  • Strengthen executive and customer engagement across key Queensland Government accounts to uncover and progress opportunities.
  • Ensure operational excellence through accurate forecasting, high‑quality CRM data and completion of required sales and compliance activities.
  • Champion culture and recognition by actively participating in and promoting Optus’ Recognise & Reward (RAP) initiatives.
