As Business Development Manager your primary function will be to acquire new business and retain existing business to grow company revenue and subscriber market share in the Medium Segment, targeting organisations in the 20-500 employee

range.

 

Success will be measured through your ability to generate opportunities from prospect lists through a combination of digital engagement, cold calling and other lead generation activities.

  • Deliver upon agreed sales targets in both acquisition of new customers – with particular emphasis on medium market space

  • Manage the development of a balanced and sustainable pipeline to deliver long term sales goals

  • Implement upon customer experience strategies to minimise churn and improve Optus' Brand in market

  • Works collaboratively with the Customer Management Team to ensure cross sell opportunities are identified and action all leads for this function.

 

 

It starts with you!

 

  • Strong background in Business Development, commercially astute with sound understanding of business drivers

  • Ability to build a pipeline of opportunities through consistently achieving high levels of prospecting activity

  • Extensive relationship / strategic sales experience within the Telecommunications and/or IT sectors

  • Strong presentation - written & verbal to internal and external senior executives

  • Magnificent personal dedication and willingness to accept accountability for actions complimented by effective negotiation skills, able to manage external and internal relationships with ease.
