Are you ready?

Optus are seeking a proactive, detail oriented and customer-focused Installation Technician to join our ‘O-Team’ – a dedicated team assisting our customers to set up, install and use their smart devices. The O-Team Audio Visual Installer is responsible for effectively and productively completing all assigned field activities, delivering the highest standard of service for all customers. The O-Team AV Installer will be responsible for completing a variety of field installation services, including but not limited to installation of devices, wall mounting, technical setting up of devices.

 

The O-Team AV Installer must prioritise health and safety, adhering to relevant WHS policies and procedures at all times. 

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Complete all assigned field work to a high standard and in a safe manner
  • Provide customer focused services in line with Optus objectives and KPI’s
  • Maintaining assigned equipment and stock & completing regular vehicle audits
  • Complying with reasonable health & safety instructions, procedures and policies

 

About You:

  • Service or field technician background – ie: audio visual, electrical, security, networks, smart home
  • Prior experience mounting wall devices and/or conducting handyperson work
  • Skilled in customer service, and interacting with customers
  • Experience installing home theatre systems - desirable
  • Security Installers license - desirable
