Governance & Quality Assurance Analyst

This role is required to undertake consulting, and quality assurance analysis across Singtel Group IT to support execution of IT Governance strategy and standards; Accountable for planning,  and executing projects in order to enable governance and quality assurance within Singtel Group IT.


Excellent communications and people skills are mandatory for this role. Project management, service management, and/or change management experience will have an added advantage. The successful candidate must be detail-oriented, able to work with conflicting priorities and have working experience in a medium to a large-sized matrix organization.


Key Responsibilities & Key Result Areas:

  • Understand and support the driving of Group IT Methodology - Project Management Methodology, Solution Delivery Methodology, Organisational Change Management Methodology, Service Management Methodology, Quality Management, and Testing methodologies.
  • Collaborate with relevant parties to ensure Quality Assurance and perform Quality Control for selected projects.
  • Oversee internal audit of quality management and compliance of standards approved by top management
  • Perform gap analysis to identify areas of improvement for our existing methodologies.
  • Continue to improve existing methodologies to achieve operational excellence using Lean Six Sigma and other tools
  • Coach on department processes, templates, tools, standards
  • Builds relationships with internal & external stakeholders and resolves any issues associated with execution of the role
  • Undertake allocated projects to deliver enhancements to Quality, governance and assurance team, and Group IT
  • Support, and undertake reporting requirements to meet Group KPI expectations


Qualifications & Experience: 

  • 2+ years in a project management role delivering IT-based projects, in accordance with PMI standards and based on standard SDLC methodology
  • 1+ years in governance, quality assurance, the audit function
  • Project management knowledge from telecommunications environment or online/internet provider
  • Analysis skills, experience with data
  • Producing standard IT project management deliverables (including project schedule in MS Project)
  • Competent user of Microsoft Project, PowerPoint, SAP, Visio & Word
  • Expert user of Microsoft Excel
  • Adaptable/flexible attitude
