Business Analytics Manager

  • Provide data analysis and business insights to support business, particularly on sales customer service channels
  • Lead adhoc, data-led internal consulting projects to support management decision making for our go-to-market and customer strategies
  • Design and create best-in-class business dashboards and other performance reports leveraging advanced analytical tools and data models to support regular meeting and business decision making/planning
  • Lead internal end-to-end data-related functions with support from internal team members – data engineering, advanced analytics, and IT etc.
  • Act as sounding board to leadership of Sales and Customer Care functions on key issues and provide fact based and data driven recommendations
  • When required, drive the planning process, and prepare necessary materials for regular business reviews, performance updates to top management and annual planning process. Responsibilities include planning, preparing, pre-syndication with related key stakeholders and follow up on subsequent execution.

The Ideal candidate should possess:

  • Degree in business or computer science, engineering with good academic records
  • Min 8 years of relevant experience in commercial / operations strategy and/or data analytics
  • Solid analytical skills and knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, SQL and BI tools (e.g. Tableau).
  • Able to translate complex analysis into simple and clear recommendations for senior leadership
  • Ability to prioritize and work on multiple projects in a deadline‐driven environment.
  • Telco and consulting experiences are a plus
  • Experience with Python or R programming are a plus
  • Proven experience of managing a small team
  • Ability to lead and coach junior analysts
