Make an Impact by:

  • Execute the strategies and action plans developed by the management to drive Singtel’s growth areas, such as 5G, Multi-Edge Access (MEC), Software Defined Network (SDN), Quantum services, etc, to increase new sales and partnership engagement and expand market share into identified Govt vertical.
  • Engage with the Government account managers (AM) to drive growth revenue targets and market share, as well increasing mindshare in the identified vertical.
  • Identify and develop sales revenue, especially on growth areas for Singtel offerings in identified vertical as well as other sectors that may be able to leverage on this vertical.
  • Assist the Director to lead, shape and capture revenue, mindshare and market share.
  • Work closely with Government agencies to support the vertical in terms of grants/ supply of talents into the industry.
  • Support ecosystem of partners.
  • Go-To-Market (GTM) together to approach companies for co-creation/development of use cases and projects.
  • Lead new business presentations and proposals, and highly experienced at driving and working with product house, delivery teams, solution specialist team, presales, and account sales teams to foster cross collaboration as well as partnering with 3rd Party Solution Providers and/or partners to drive and execute on the GTM plans.
  • Support alignment within SingTel and partners on product strategy and GTM.

 

New Business Generation

  • Support virtual teams across various key internal stakeholders to bring together and explore viable solutions and appropriate response to tender/RFI/RFQ/CFC requirements.
  • Working with various internal teams to execute value propositions and strategies created by the Director for IHL.
  • Execute lead generation activities and promotions to drive awareness and accelerate adoption.
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with complementary technology and marketing partners to develop new opportunities, joint business plans and value propositions.
  • Contribute to business development and marketing strategies by being a participant in quarterly, annual, and ad-hoc planning discussions.
  • Ensures smooth running of projects to completion.
  • Co-ordination work from projects and implementation, student talent management and liaising with eco-system partners.

 

Market Development/Thought Leadership

  • Keep abreast of key trends affecting the business – new developments in the government sector, progress of commercial enterprises and development in the market environment specific to the identified vertical.
  • Must possess a strong intellectual curiosity and desire to understand and solve pain points.
  • Possesses strong critical reasoning skills; Able to provide meaningful, well-reasoned critiques and suggestions on the direction of a variety of initiatives.

 

Skills for Success:

  • Degree in Marketing, Business, Engineering, or Computer Science with 5 or more years in sales experience. Proven sales record in selling solution.
  • At least 2 years of working experience in Telco/ICT industry.
  • ICT / telco knowledge preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel, Share-point, Teams, and PowerPoint).
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills; able to formulate, write and succinctly communicate our value, strategy, and proposed solution on client opportunities.
  • Technical and/or operational background with experience managing projects.
  • Self-driven, aggressive, and energetic.
  • Resourceful and creative.
  • Possess strong leadership skills.
  • Able to self-motivate and independent.
  • Able to communicate and collaborate.
  • Able to project strong, positive image of self and Company.
