Job Description

  • Development and execution of Dash Merchant Acquiring strategy through appointed Master Acquirers and Direct acquisition channels
  • Manage and drive Master Acquirers to achieve monthly target number of merchant acceptance points
  • Work with Master Acquirers in identifying and acquiring target strategic merchants and target merchant clusters
  • Implement operational processes to ensure accurate and timely submissions of reports from Master Acquirers and manage merchant database
  • Evaluate and develop new partnerships with potential master acquirers to expand coverage and reach
  • Own and project manage the onboarding process for new Master Acquirers from contractual negotiations, technical integrations, and go-live implementation
  • Work with Product team to ensure technical requirements for Master Acquirers are well supported
  • Address issues that may arise from Master Acquirers and to work with internal/external stakeholder for resolution.
  • Develop new partnerships with online/offline merchants
  • Build strategic relationships with existing key merchants
  • Formulate plans to drive increased usage of Dash and grow active user base
  • Work with Marketing teams and provide end-to-end support on implementation and execution of all merchant related campaigns
  • Manage multiple project implementations and timelines with merchants & vendors
  • Perform data extraction and conduct analysis of Dash consumer behaviour to run targeted campaigns/promotions.
  • To address issues that may arise from merchants and to work with internal/external stakeholders to resolve the issues
  • Responsible for driving monthly active usage at acquired merchant points through end-to-end implementation and execution of marketing campaigns
  • Conduct regular onsite checks to audit merchants acquired for Dash acceptance and build relationship with merchants
  • Perform data extraction and conduct analysis for weekly management reports
  • Ensure Business Development & Marketing teams achieve key targets of Merchant Acceptance Points and Monthly Active Users


The Ideal Candidate should possess the following: 

  • Bachelors Degree in Business Administration 
  • Able to perform in fast-paced environment and focus on generating results
  • Positive working attitude to take on additional responsibilities when needed
  • Responsible, motivated, meticulous and detail oriented
  • Ability to crunch financials for building of business cases and maintaining profitability
  • Strong negotiator
  • Ability to work across different internal departments and maintain good relationships with partners & merchants
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation and presentation skill set

A good understanding of the following areas will be an advantage:

  • Payments Industry knowledge especially in regards to the workings of Payments Schemes (Visa/Mastercard/AMEX) and Master Acquiring processes
  • Merchant acquiring for banks/e-wallets
  • Payments Operations & Sales promotions
  • Retail & F&B industry knowledge
  • Payment & Settlement processes
