The Singtel Digital Experience & Design team for Consumer Singapore Digital Group is an internal design agency. They consist of several user experience design teams that support various business units within Singtel’s Consumer Group to define the user experience across all its digital products and touchpoints.

 

The role requires a strong understanding of business strategy and must be able to effectively bridge creative aspirations with business objectives while constantly evangelizing and championing a user-centric, online-first approach to product development. This will require the candidate to stay up to date and drive adoption of the latest digital techniques and approaches to develop best in class products and experiences for the business.

 

Key responsibilities

 

  • Client service and account manage assigned internal Business Partners
  • Participate, shape and prioritize product roadmap alongside the Business Partner and senior executives
  • Provide first line of user experience consulting and recommendations for a fast turnaround
  • Work with various teams to deliver compelling and differentiated experiences for the Business
  • Clarify, understand and negotiate business requirements on behalf of the wider team
  • Accountable for delivery of all Experience & Design commitments to Business Partners
  • Define an optimal partnership and engagement model with Business Partners
  • Manage design team’s project pipeline and resources, and develop design project plans and timelines according to business needs
  • Manage 3rd party agency involvement in the creation of digital designs and assets
  • Drive development teams to deliver the optimal experience as defined by the Digital Experience and Design
  • Engage with senior executives across the group to contribute and shape the strategic roadmap
  • Engage commercial, legal, finance and procurement teams for planning, contracting and budgeting

 

 

Job requirements

 

  • A minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in a creative or product industry
  • Have strong stakeholder management and communication skills, and be able to think strategically with strong business acumen
  • Passionate and energetic with a deep appreciation of user experience design
  • Have prior experience in project coordination and tracking in leading client facing projects from start to completion
  • Be at the forefront of global trends, research and consumer insights for defined business verticals
