As a business manager for Enterprise 5G, you will be responsible for developing and executing Singtel’s 5G/IoT growth strategy, business plan, GTM and business operations.  Reporting to Director, CE & Planning, the Business manager of Enterprise 5G will oversee the product P&L, drive GTM strategies with business development and sales units, organise annual operating planning exercises and presentations.  He/she will need to have good leadership qualities and have strong execution abilities, managing and getting support from cross functional personnel of different disciplines, and overcoming roadblocks to produce desired results in accordance to tight timelines.

 

The Business planning manager is responsible to work with the core or cross functional team members and program manage all product and service launches, ensuring that all critical deliverables and milestones are achieved, including market size & growth projections, competitor analysis, Business case, service descriptions, proposal templates, workflows and systems, and stakeholder signoff.  Responsibilities also include an ongoing review of the product and service performance against the business case, and also identifying areas for enhancement /rectification to enable the acceleration of the business.

 

Make an Impact By:

 

  • Develop and execute the business strategy/plan for Singtel’s 5G/IoT business Intelligence gathering according to market landscape sensing and macro economic environment
  • Financial reporting of business performance, including preparation of management reports and analysis of the business and financial trends and outlook
  • Performance analysis – monitor KPIs and progress towards targets, analyse performance against competitors/industry
  • Design and review financial models, business cases.  Review business proposals, forecasts and budgets and determine appropriate key performance indicators
  • Review, analyse and acquire a good understanding of the industry and regulatory trends and developments for key strategic decision-making.  
  • Support the operational requirements of the business and assist in ensuring proper internal control systems

 

Skills for Success:

 

  • Degree in Business, Accounting/Finance or Engineering from a recognized university
  • 5 to 8 years of work experience.
  • Program Management.
  • Commercial Deal Management.
  • Financial Acumen.
  • Accountancy, Finance and Business.
  • Strong analytical skills with a good eye for detail. Sound knowledge of Program Management.
  • Keen interest in the business and its operations and processes. Able to work in a dynamic and fast paced environment, and to meet critical deadlines.
  • Able to work well both independently as well as working collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Strong communication / writing ability and able to communicate complex concepts to persons of various backgrounds.
  • Pipeline Management and Analytics.
