The Business Planning Manager (Enterprise Mobile) is responsible for business planning, forecasting, and performance management for the Enterprise Mobile business.

The role serves as the single point of contact and enterprise focal point for Enterprise Mobile planning and performance, ensuring alignment between operational drivers, financial outcomes, and management reporting. Through disciplined planning, rigorous analysis, and strong governance, the role provides a trusted, integrated enterprise view to support HOD- and VP level business decisions.

The role will leverage strong data analytics capabilities and explore the application of emerging analytical and AI‑enabled tools to enhance business monitoring, forecasting accuracy, and forward‑looking insights, in support of data‑driven decision‑making.

 

Make an Impact by

 

Enterprise Mobile Planning & Forecast

  • Lead the development and consolidation of monthly rolling forecasts and a 3‑year outlook for Enterprise Mobile, ensuring alignment between operational drivers, financial outcomes, and management reporting.
  • Partner with Business, Product, and Finance stakeholders to validate forecasting assumptions, inputs, and coherence across products and segments.
  • Design and enhance analytics‑driven forecasting models, leveraging historical trends, leading indicators, and scenario analysis to improve forecast accuracy and responsiveness.

 

Month End Close & Financial Governance

  • Coordinate and govern Enterprise Mobile inputs into month end and quarter end close processes, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and consistency between actuals, forecasts, and management views.
  • Partner with Finance and FP&A to analyse variances, support judgement items, and address post close adjustments to enable clean and credible management reporting.
  • Apply data analytics to strengthen validation, highlight unusual movements, and improve transparency and confidence in management reporting.

 

Performance Management & Sales Governance

  • Perform variance analysis, trend reviews, and risk assessments against targets and forecasts, proactively identifying issues impacting business performance.
  • Support enterprise sales cadence through funnel tracking, pipeline visibility, and performance analysis.
  • Partner with Business and Finance teams to support the setting and validation of sales targets, and provide oversight on earned revenue, EBITDA submissions, and achievement tracking, ensuring accuracy and consistency across Business, Finance, HR, and Commissions.

 

Executive Reporting & Insights

  • Develop and deliver executive ready materials for Trading Meetings, Business Performance Reviews (BPRs), and MC updates, translating working level inputs into clear, decision oriented enterprise narratives.
  • Deliver quarterly competitor and performance insights, and coordinate data extraction for business cases and ad hoc analyses to support senior management discussions.

  

Skills for Success

  • Degree in Finance, Statistics, Data Science, or Business Analytics, with demonstrated quantitative or analytical training.
  • At least 8 to 10 years of relevant working experience
  • Strong understanding of enterprise business models, revenue drivers, and financial performance, with the ability to link operational activities to financial outcomes through robust forecasting, budgeting, variance analysis, and management reporting.
  • Proficient in data analysis and visualisation tools (e.g. Excel, Power BI, Salesforce, Studio Analytics) to support business planning, performance monitoring, and insight generation.
  • Curiosity and readiness to explore emerging analytical and AI‑enabled tools that may enhance business monitoring, forecasting, and insight generation over time.
  • Keen interest in the business and its operations and processes.
  • Able to work in a dynamic and fast paced environment, and to meet critical deadlines.
  • Demonstrates strong skills in working independently while also effectively collaborating with various teams and stakeholders.
  • Strong communication and writing ability, and able to communicate complex concepts to persons of various backgrounds
  • Strong stakeholder partnering and influence and project management skills with a focus on driving business outcomes.
