Based in Canberra, the Proposal Coordinator’s key focus is to create a strong and profitable customer relationship for Optus Business, from the initial proposal notification, through to service implementation. The role requires support to the overall Government account, with a primary focus to the Account Management and Pre-Sales teams.

Your day in the life of a Proposal Coordinator at Optus

  • Build capability levels of the account teams by assisting in the planning and execution of Proposals.
  • Engage with and support the sales team on tenders and delivery of new sales orders.
  • Working with the commercial team to update pricing and contract variations.
  • Assisting with proposal development and management of the delivery internal governance process for stakeholder approval.
  • Gathering of information required from the team and client to develop documentation.
  • Following processes and procedures that are required of the account teams to bring an opportunity to close and claim.
  • Developing and building strong customer relationships.
  • Building robust Governance process and documentation.

Your skills to pay the bills

  • ICT or Telecommunications background is not essential, however is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of voice Products, NetAccess DSL, Mobile products, Data Products.Extremely well organised with some Project Management skills.
  • Strong Communication, Customer Focused and solid relationship building skills.
  • Professional Presentation experience.
  • Proven track record with critical time Management and Task Prioritisation.
