Reporting into the Unit Head in charge, the Category Manager will be responsible to support any new and relevant business and build processes to optimize business cost and operation efficiency for the organization.



  • Main Scope is to investigate, identify, plan and build new and relevant business processes to optimize business cost and operation efficiency for the organization
  • Ensure the Main scopes’ tasks and activities implemented are able to meet, integrate and comply with our organization’s governance, compliance and quality management
  • Work closely with Procurement, Contract Manager and Legal Dept, to negotiate new supplier/partners on the terms and conditions of Singtel Master Supplier Agreement (GMSA) & rest of related documents
  • Manage, maintain and develop relationship with existing and new ICT product and services supplier/partners to support our Sales organization
  • Monitor, review, measure and report supplier/partner’s performance on their cost and service commitment and provide recommended appropriate actions to ensure partner meet the minimum requirement
  • Drive vendor quarterly review and performance report card
  • Drive vendor half-yearly internal survey to measure feedback and comments from our Sales Team and Project Team
  • Track incident reported by Sales team and track vendor performance issues
  • Assist to track vendor invoices and resolve Vendor aging report to ensure our timely rebate payment
  • Drive and enhance strong vendor partnership to increase share
  • Proactively communicate with Vendor Team, Sales team, Project Managers, Project Office and Procurement Team
  • Develop self, and maintain knowledge in these relevant fields at all times
  • Portal ownership to ensure information are updated and  available for internal use
  • Other scope as assigned accordingly


The ideal candidate should have/ be:

  • Diploma/Degree Holder
  • Good Interpersonal and communications skills
  • Good knowledge in MS office Applications especially Excel and Word
  • Experience in managing vendors and procurement administration will be an added advantage
  • Able to work in a team as well as independently
  • Patient & meticulous with the ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
