  • Work as part of the ClayOPS Consulting team to provide analytics services and support to their regional and global clients.
  • Maintain and support existing clients in their analytics needs
  • Client and stakeholder management
  • Requirements gathering from client
  • Project planning, implementation and management to ensure project deliverables according to proposed timeline
  • Manage and maintain high standards of deliverables by the analyst team
  • Work effectively and efficiently in cross team collaborations (i.e. technology, BD)
  • Monitors and manages project baseline to ensure activities are occurring as planned - scope, budget and schedule – manages variances
  • Proactively identify risks and issues on projects - leading team to develop risk management and issues management plans
  • Identifies potential points of contention for missed deliverables; creates and implements strategy to mitigate shortfalls in timeline and budget
  • Anticipates problems before they occur; defines the problem or risk; identifies possible causes; works with team to identify solutions; selects and implements most appropriate solution
  • Develop and manage plans to address project strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats
  • Ability to balance both the "science" of how to perform project management and the "art" of program/project management, which is learned through experience and skill training/application
  • Analytical skills and problem solving skills needed to manage multiple factors on a project simultaneously
  • Project manager is expected to act independently to deliver projects to schedule, budget and scope; support provided as required and requested, and is self-driven and motivated
  • Project manager leads project teams consisting of cross functional groups; directly supervises staff; assigns responsibility to members; monitors progress
  • Project manager coaches, mentors and supports less experienced project managers as well as other project resources as needed.  Assigns responsibility to members; monitors progress and reports project health on a regular basis

The ideal candidate should possess:

  • 3 years in an analytics related work 
  • 5+ years’ experience in project management
  • Other relevant experience in a related field 
  • Work experience in a professional services industry, preferred
  • Track record of customer focus, based on openness, trust, and delivering on promises
  • Experience in managing to contract; ensuring clients and suppliers alike perform in accordance with original agreement
  • Working knowledge of market-leading data analytics tools such as - Tableau, PowerBI, is desired but not required
  • Knowledge and experience in BI tools and methodologies (eg. AWS Glue, AWS S3, Azure Data Factory, Synapse, Databricks, Microsoft SSAS, SSIS, SSRS, Power BI, Tableau software, Pentaho solutions) is a big plus 
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills (includes negotiation)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills – must be able to communicate fluently in English both verbally and in writing
