Role & Responsibilities

 

The key mandate of this role is to drive sales through a close partnership and co-creation with key clients and to ensure that what is sold is delivered with high quality and on time on budget:

 

  • Drive sales,
  • Partner and co-create with clients through a consulting approach, and
  • Ensure quality delivery.

 

You will act as a leading role in designated key client accounts to build trusted business relationship. As the job requires close client engagement and interaction, you will need to have the right mix of strong domain and industrial knowledge to understand the complex business needs of key clients and is able to analyse their needs.  This role is integral to sustaining and growing NCS’ core business.  You will lead a client account team which comprises of a Client Delivery Lead and a Client Sales Lead.   You will be supported by a consulting team and other key employees who are experts in their respective digital, products and platforms field.

 

Other key deliverables include:

  • Managing a profitable key client account(s)
  • Developing and operationalising account(s) growth plans for key client account(s)
  • Acting as a consultant to clients and be responsible for achieving high client satisfaction score through a deep understanding of business needs via close client engagement and interaction
  • Developing and maintaining deep key client relationships
  • Developing a point of view or thought leadership once a year to strengthen NCS brand position in the marketplace.
  • Ideation with client to lead to opportunity originations

 

 

To be successful in this role, you need to:

 

  • Have strong consulting abilities. As a consultant to the client, this role requires the individual to have expertise and unique knowledge in the client’s business and operating industry, to create differentiated and tailored value prepositions for the key client accounts.  This will be in Digital Organisation Design, Digital Strategic and Master Planning, Business Case Development, etc. 
  • Ability to engage the clients C-suite to help them solve business problems, ideate their digitalisation roadmap and help clients seize business opportunities through use of technology

 

The ideal profile should have / be:

  • Degree in any discipline
  • Background in client leading service, and with IT business exposure regionally
  • Minimum 15 years or more in IT or ICT Consulting industry with 8 years or more experience focusing on key account in Industrial & Commerical
  • Good knowledge in ISO55001
  • Ability to architect value and have good sales acumen
  • Lead and develop long-term relationship with customers during business development and project delivery
  • Deep experience in Professional Services organization setup, especially in working driving client engagements and delivering projects
  • Strong collaboration and teaming experience, and ability to work with both senior leadership as well as operational and working level executives.
  • Excellent relationship and stakeholder management skills - capable of dealing with people across all levels of a large, complex, fast moving organisation with constant transformation to stay market relevant.
