Cloud Security Architect

You will be responsible for the delivery of security system and solution right from the design phase to build, test and go-live. You are expected to have a thorough understanding of complex IT systems and stay up to date with the latest security technology, standards, trends, and best practices.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) in the cloud cybersecurity solutions which includes multi/hybrid cloud design and implementation.
• Drive cybersecurity discussion with stakeholders, interpret user security requirements to design security systems/solutions.
• Work closely with the technical competencies team on relevant technologies required by customers and for new business growth.
• Engage and build close partnership with product principals for better synergy in both solutioning and delivery phases.
• Develop and implement new hybrid security architectures (multi-cloud and on-prem).
• Review current security controls and recommend enhancements.
• Support the delivery team to ensure projects are delivered on time and compliant to security requirements.
• Perform threat modelling, cyber risk assessment and recommend mitigation controls.
• Participate in regular security audits and ensure effectiveness of policies.
• Keep abreast of latest cybersecurity trends and introduce solutions to customers that address the everchanging threat landscape.
• Mentor and provide guidance to security team members to ensure success of security project/program.

The ideal candidate should possess:

• Diploma/Bachelor degree in Computer Information Security or related field
• At least one security certification is preferred, such as Certified Information Security Management (CISM), Certified Risk Information Security Control (CRISC), or Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP). 
• Cloud Security Certifications with at least one cloud provider.
• Minimum 10 years of working experience in at least 3 of the security domains.

• Minimum 2- 3 years of relevant working experience in either AWS, Azure or Google Cloud Platform.  Experience with other cloud platforms will also be considered.
• Experience with various virtualization technologies and multi-tenant, private and hybrid cloud environments.
• Strong understanding of cloud or system security will be preferred.
• Some understanding of software development and infrastructure operations solutions will be preferred.
• Strong analytical and design thinking skills
• Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks, such as NIST, ISO27001 and ISO27017
• Effective communication skills (both verbal and written) to articulate secure design principles to a range of stakeholders.
• Able to work under pressure and to lead a team to deliver.
• Excellent communicator in both written and spoken English.  Other language skills will be advantageous
