As the Collection Risk Lead, you will shape and deliver strategies that enhance operational efficiency while supporting customers experiencing financial difficulty, helping to reduce debt and avoid involuntary disconnections wherever possible.

 

Your day to day will consist of

  • Design and implement data-driven early collections strategies to improve rates and reduce costs.
  • Build risk assessment to enhance decision-making.
  • Collaborate with product and operations teams to roll out strategy changes.
  • Track performance, AOP benefits, and drive continuous improvement.
  • Work with the Risk Modelling team on model and rule builds, ensuring timely testing and deployment.
  • Maintain clear documentation and governance for audit readiness.
  • Engage stakeholders to align on policy and timing changes with cases.

 

What You Bring

  • Proven expertise in credit risk oversight, policy formulation, and implementation within collections environments.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to quantify and communicate the impact of policy changes effectively.
  • Outstanding collaboration skills to work seamlessly with credit modelling, operations, collections, product, and analytics teams.
  • Flawless ability to mentor and guide on policy interpretation and compliance, ensuring strict adherence to regulatory standards.
  • Demonstrated success in supporting governance forums, risk committees, and regulatory reporting with high-quality documentation and recommendations.
  • Ambitious approach with a drive to ensure compliance and enterprise risk appetite alignment.
