What will you do?
- Key Primary role as a Finance Bid Reviewer - to review the cost/pricing models and pricing assumptions that the bid team has prepared.
- Review bid financials, assumptions and provides financial/risk assessments to the bid approvers.
- Provide guidance on corporate finance guidelines.
- Support bid teams to initiate credit checks on partners, subcontractors and clients.
- Coach the bid teams to prepare bid financial summary, P&L and cash-flow.
- Primary role as a Commercial Analyst - responsible for developing cost/pricing models for submission to the customer and is responsible for preparing bid governance finance reviews.
- Interpret bid commercials to identify pricing/investment strategies.
- Prepares what-if analysis to help bid team determine a final target price.
- Delivers the cost/pricing model and pricing assumptions.
- Prepares P&L and cash flow of the deal in relation to the proposed payment milestone for business/deliver centers. owners to understand the financial impact of the deal.
- Converts cost/pricing to ‘client format’ pricing table.
- Ensure proposed pricing is in line with overall bid strategy; establish pricing structure that meets business/corporate. target margins and get internal approvals for customer submission and make changes where appropriate.
- Ensure bid commercials are robust, complete, fully evidenced & drive margins.
- Respond to customer commercial clarifications.
- Participates in department/division/group/corporate initiatives to drive, develop and sustain the department’s objectives (Bid Management Centre of Excellence) – in particular the commercial processes and best practices.
The Ideal Candidate should possess:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy / Finance-related studies.
- Min 2 years of relevant working experience.
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Applications esp. Excel, PowerPoint.
- Strong analytical skills and an eye for detail.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced and stressful environment.
- Previous working experience in IT sector will be an added advantage.
