As a Commercial Contract Manager, you will be responsible for reviewing and advising on commercial  agreements throughout the contract lifecycle. You will be required to support the Business articulate their requirements, assist with the structure and incorporation of relevant governance frameworks designed to support vendor performance and risk management, and resolve commercial disputes with favourable outcomes.

You will shape and negotiate complex legal agreements, commercial structures, and risk mitigation controls to drive successful business outcomes for Optus, with the primary focus on strategic suppliers within the Indirect and IT categories of spend.

• Degree or equivalent experience qualified in a business/commercial, field.
• Proven experience in contract and vendor management at middle/senior management level
• Experience managing complex contracts, across legal, risk, performance and financial aspects
• Demonstrated analytical thinking with the ability to conceptualise and create alternatives
