The Compliance Program Reporting Lead plays a pivotal role in supporting Optus’ Compliance Program by delivering high‑quality, executive‑ready reporting and insights across a complex regulatory environment. Reporting to the Director, Delivery Lead, this role acts as the central point for compliance program reporting, providing clear visibility of program progress, compliance status, risks and issues. 

Responsible for owning and standardizing reporting frameworks, templates and artefacts, the role partners closely with project and business teams to embed consistent, transparent reporting practices. Working alongside Compliance, Legal and delivery teams, the position also supports the practical application of the Compliance Management Framework, monitors adherence to regulatory obligations and facilitates timely escalation and resolution of issues, balancing regulatory rigour with pragmatic, business‑aligned outcomes. 

 

 Your day to day will consist of  

  • Own and maintain Compliance Program reporting standards, templates and artefacts, ensuring consistent, accurate and executive‑ready outputs 

  • Collate, validate and analyse compliance and program data to produce regular and ad‑hoc reports for senior leadership, governance forums and regulators 

  • Partner closely with project managers and business stakeholders to support timely, high‑quality reporting and embed strong reporting disciplines 

  • Monitor project alignment with the Compliance Management Framework, identifying risks, issues and early warning indicators, and escalating as required 

  • Drive continuous improvement in reporting processes, data quality and insights, working with Compliance, Legal and PMO teams to support effective program delivery
